1. You could have a yeast infection.
It’s also called oral thrush, and it affects the mouth, creating white spots on the throat and tongue. The infection is caused by a bacteria called Candida Albicans that naturally inhabits your mouth and is controlled by your immune system. However, if your immune system weakens, this bacteria can quickly reproduce causing an infection. Apart from the bits of white on your throat, another symptom of this is a weird taste in your mouth.
